Madewell Woodworks is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that all of our customers and prospective customers — whether they are browsing our work, scheduling a consultation, or learning about our custom Murphy beds and built-ins — deserve a clear, usable experience online.
We work toward conforming with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard recommended for most public-facing websites. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, including those who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technologies.
This is an ongoing effort. We review the site regularly and remediate issues as we find them.
Our site is designed to be compatible with current versions of the major web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and with common assistive technologies, including screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) and operating-system-level zoom and contrast features. The site uses semantic HTML, supports keyboard navigation, and follows responsive design practices for use on phones, tablets, and desktop computers.
Despite our best efforts, parts of this website may not yet be fully accessible. Areas we are actively working on include:

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 3 business days and to provide a substantive response or remediation plan within 10 business days.
